House-sit

So,

I went to the DLS sisters' place just to check in.

Decided I might as well do my studying there since it's quiet.

I was going to send them some pics of their stuff.

Just to let them know everything's fine.

But they have limited wifi.

No leaks, no stranger living in their closet or anything.

I know a normal person would just go ahead and take pics of the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, etc.

But I'm not normal.

Started with Janine's room.

Toilet, check.

Bed, check.

Hamper, check.

Closet, check.

Bathroom, check.

Welp, everything seems to be in good condition here.

Next up, Jill's room.

(Messy) bed, check.

(Unused) clothes, check.

(Closed) toilet, check.

Dirty clothes, check.

And make up is in its rightful place.

Now for the other rooms.

Kitchen.

Living room.

Couch is intact.

Dining table with my books.

Tv, molested.

Laundry room smells nice.

Everything's good here.

Thoughts

9-24

Wednesday is normally just lecture day. 
Attendance isn't required either and class starts at 8 am. 
Woke up around 4 am cos I had to drive the DLS sisters to zee airport.
Then Janine gives me her car and apartment keys.
"You're my keeper." she says.
How's about we make that for real huh? 
Keed.

Then Jill gives me hers. 
I feel like I'm a safe in a bank. 
Way to go Bo.
I'm such a trustworthy person.
Yes, I am praising myself.
Nothing wrong with that.

Got to school at 7:05 and Judy was already getting out of her car.
I was dragging. 
That was the first time I ate breakfast in the classroom.
Which was weird... even for me.

Then Judy gets a call from her husband at work.
I was wondering why she was laughing so much.
She told me her husband forgot to bring his lunch and backpack.
She's usually the one to get everything ready for him.
One time he went out without his shoes hahahah.
Such a spoiled husband.
Which reminded me of my brother while we were still in high school.
When we were on our way to school I was wondering why he was wearing short shorts.
I asked him and he turned the car around.
He was wearing his boxers hahahaha.

I'm starting to suspect there's something going on between this guy in my class and my lecture professor though.
At first, he was flirty with her.
But he misses class time a lot and always late to clinicals.
He didn't even show up today.
I'm pretty sure he's done this before and how he got away with it I don't know.
But if I do still see him in school then there is definitely some kind of forbidden affair going on.
I don't know. I think it's just me.

After class I went straight to Marie's house and watched little Tori while she cooked.
Tori was watching Tangled and eating chex mix when I got there.
I sat next to her and she moved to my side and leaned on me.
WHY YOU GOTTA BE SO SWEET FOR LOVE.

Then Armando and Gabriel came.
That little boy doesn't listen to anybody.
He really takes after his parents.
Honestly I think they're doing a bad job raising the kid.
But that's none of my business.

Joy came, and is very pregnant.
She brought her son with her.
Told me to have Nov. 16 off cos that's her baby shower.
"Of course she will. She's got nothing else to do," Armando says.
I know that would bother anybody but I've gotten used to his condescending attitude toward me.
Probably why I don't like being around him.

Momo came and totally ignored me.
Tried to make eye contact but she wouldn't meet my gaze.
Oh wells.
As more people came I decided to leave since I had clinicals the next day and I needed to sleep early.
Momo finally looked at me and I just gave her a smile.
I went to get my backpack, gave Tori a kiss and off I went.
Not much of a party person.

Got paired with a very swift nurse.
How can that little body move so fast!
Most of the time she acted like I didn't exist.
She'd get up from her chair and not tell me where or what she's going to do.
I was asked to get ice water, snacks and supplies for the patients.
I did get to give oral meds, injections and take out IV's though.
But that's pretty much it.
I refused to discontinue foleys. 
I totally blanked out and forgot how to do that.
Even forgot the step of deflating the balloon.
Would have pulled that right out and fucked up his urethra.
Which was a good call on my part I think.
Better safe than sorry.

Met two Filipinos on the floor.
They didn't know I was filo lol.
This one lady was pushing an empty bed back to the room and she was swerving.
"Excuse me, Asian driver here hehehe" she laughed and apologized to me at the same time.
No worries dude, I totally get your joke. No hard feelings here. We're on the same boat ahah.

Chatted with Miss Chane for a while on skype.
Then I get a call from Janine.

"I'm going to smack your head when I get back there. The "unlocked" phone you gave me is not unlock at all!" she yells.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Ahh well, could've fooled me!
That's what the guy who sold me that phone told me! Hahaha no wonder it was cheap.

Anyway.
Since they gave me the keys to their place, I'm gonna go there tomorrow and do my studying there.
Will be starting their cars as well.
Dreading those exams next week.
Sigh.

Mother and daughter

Was practicing my skills during open lab.

I usually don't go to open labs but I was desperate this time.

We learned all four skills in one sitting.

Don't have enough brain cells for that.

I was there with Temi and Judy.

We be desperate bitches.

Temi's phone went off.

Her ringtone was weird.

It was like some kind of a tribal song.

So I broke out in a dance.

I danced like an Egyptian HAHAHAHA

Everyone else saw me and laughed.

But I didn't care! I danced away.

Charlotte: Bo, are you dating anybody?

Me: No

Charlotte: 'Cause you and Chromel... your sense of humor is the same. You two are goofballs.

Me: Yeaaah not happening.

He's a funny and an interesting guy but...

I don't know why but I see my brother in him.

And it's gross.

Plus, boys don't like me.

They are terrified or rather feel threatened by me.

I've come to accept it and I'm happy living my life without a man thanks.

It'd be nice if there was someone out there for me.

But I'm not getting my hopes us.

The preceptor I got during practicum was a bit intimidating.

She'd get ready to mark me off before I could do the next step.

Like Miss, I was gonna do it ok let me do my shit.

Patient much??

Whatevs.

Exams came back.

How I prayed to get a decent score.

God answered my prayers <3

On another note, got paired up with a cute nurse again on Thursday.

She is an amazing teacher! 

I almost wish she was my lect/lab instructor.

Hope I'll get paired up with her again.

Before she did anything, she would educate me.

I think I have learned more from her than what I learned in school.

Just... mind blowing.

Decided to stalk her on FB fufufu.

I know. I'm bad.

But she piqued my interest.

Stayed in the school library the day after.

I think I was there almost all day.

Did some reading before lecture.

It is a lot of information to take in.

Plus I haven't been drinking coffee.

I get so sleepy quickly now.

Then this guy was just snoring away while I was reading.

Went to church today with mama.

While driving there, we were (shit) talking about my brother.

Mama: I noticed he's been depressed lately. I think it's because of the breakup.

Me: I don't think so.

Mama: He takes after your father. He just sleeps all day.

Me: And he watches all that science stuff.

Mama: He really wants to go back to school. He needs a push. He lacks confidence.

Me: He should go to school.

Mama: It makes me sad seeing you go out with your rolling backpack while he lazily sleeps.

Me: Hahahaha

Mama: Yeah. I'm just glad one of you is working hard. He tells me he wants to be a lawyer *laughs snobbishly*

Me: HAHAHAHAHA

My goodness ma, he's your son! hahaha.

Mama: Yeah I know he's my son but he's so lazy.

In all seriousness, I don't get it either.

Why he chooses this lifestyle is beyond me.

I just know one thing.

When I get my own place, you are not living with me.

The only people I'll allow to live with me is mom and my trusted significant other.

And probably a dog or some kind of pet.

Anyway, so Mama and I were in church.

Whenever it's time for the "peace be with you" part, my mom and I have a secret handshake.

It involves gangster handshakes hahaha mind you.

Then this guy saw and came up to us.

"How did you do that again?" he asked.

Both of us said nothing.

Just embarrassment worn on our faces.

I remember one time when we were at Walmart....

We were gonna take two watermelons.

But then they changed the price on it.

So we gave one back and this gentleman behind us said he'd pay for it.

I, being the shameless one, jumped at the opportunity.

I quickly grabbed the other watermelon hahah

Me: *whispering* Go ahead mom, he offered.

HAHAHAHAHAHA

I enjoy our little shenanigans lol.

Although I think you would have been better off if you had married that rich Chinese guy who courted you before dad.

Amazing day with the DLS siblings

Got to hang out with Jae and Denzel yesterday <3
First went hiking at 5 a.m.
The cool breeze was refreshing, even in the desert huhuh
There was a bee following Denzel and he screamed and started pushing me and Jae.
Which reminded me of this movie White Chicks.
"MOVE BITCH."
Hahahaha.

We then went to Starbucks per Denzie's request.
I'm actually quite surprised at the fact that this boy maintains a normal A1C with all the stuff he's eating. GAH!
While at Starbucks we were deciding on where to eat.
Like seriously, what kind of place opens at 7 in the morning on a Sunday?
A rare find.
But decided to go to Kiss the Cook anyway (Mine and Jae's regular breakfast hangout after hiking)

Had to drop off Denzie's leftovers at his house for his mom to eat.
Then went to Jae's place to give her leftovers to her sister who just came home from work.
I, on the other hand, ate like a selfish pig and didn't have any leftovers.

I realized that that exact moment we shared (Denzel, Jae, Jill and me), I knew I'd treasure it forever.
We talked about serious stuff, we joked, we laughed.
Jae and I pressured Jill to lose more weight cos we wanted her to win the challenge.
There is $230 at stake here. Divide that by 3, and we would each get $75.
WE DON'T FUCK AROUND.

Denzel: If I was in that challenge, I would cheat a little bit.
Me: Cheat?
Denzel: Yeah. Like the day before the final weigh in, I'd get a liposuction.
Me and Jill cracked up.
Denzel: Like hayy guys, don't mind the scars just weigh me now.
Hahahaha. This boy is hilarious!

I was trying to play match maker and nominated my cousin's son, Cameron to be a suitable suitor for Vivi, their niece (who also happens to be my goddaughter)

Jill: What do his parents do for a living?
Me: Well my cousin's a nurse and a businesswoman, and her husband's a doctor.

Me: Most likely.

Jill: Ok then I don't approve.
Me: He did tell his mom that he wants to be a cement truck driver when he grows up.

Pressured Jill some more. Jae gave her a list of foods not to eat.
Like no sweets, no bread, no soda, etc.

Jill: But we have a potluck party tonight at work.
Me: I don't care, you have to resist it. You have to win this thing!
Jill: Ughhh the pressure!

After our precious friendly moment, Jae, Denzel and I went grocery shopping.
As Jae said to her sister, "I am going to feed you nothing but clear fluids this week"

Ended up buying some healthy stuff. I recommended avocados to be cut up with a little bit of sugar.
After grocery shopping we decided to separate and do our own thing and just meet up at Jae's place later for a movie.
Jae said she had to buy some stuff for her vacation in two weeks.
Huhuhuhu I wish I could go T_T
This is so not fair D:

Denzel and I had to study for our class.
I only studied for half an hour and crashed.
Woke up around 4:30 pm and Jae texted me if I wanted to have dinner somewhere.

I've been recommending this Mexican place called Sylvia's now.

Been bugging Jae about going there but I seriously just forgot all about it. It totally slipped my mind.

While driving there, Denzel, Jae and I were messing around.

Jae: Is this your first time eating at this place?

Me: No, my second time.

Jae: What about you Denz?

Denzel: No, I've been there before.

I told the siblings that it's always been my dream to make a short film.

Don't know about the plot yet but I do want to shoot it somewhere nice.

Denzel said I would make a good youtuber.

Thanks but no thanks. I prefer working behind the camera.

I'd have to have a script first before I can make a film.

After dinner we went to the movies to see As above, so below.

Denzel had already seen it but he's not spoiling it for us!

I thought it was a weird movie. 

I like weird movies.

It was creepy too, which is another thing I like.

Overall, not a bad movie. 

Just thought it was funny that the girl was pushing those zombies away, throwing all fear aside haha.

When the movie was finished, Denzel went home while I made a quick stop at Jae's place to pee.

Still kinda sad that I'm not gonna be able to travel with them this year *sad face*

Was planning to study some more when I got home too but I was too tired.

SCREW IT MAN, I'M GONNA WING THIS PRACTICUM AND EXAM.

But definitely enjoyed the time I spent with these peeps.

I hope God has more days like this one in store for me <3
