What the...?

Doreen and my mom have been friends and coworkers for a long time back home.

Doreen came to America about a year ago by herself, then was later joined by her husband and son.

Doreen, Andy (her hubby) and Brian (her son) arrived in Phoenix from North Dakota a couple days ago.

They're only here for a week I think.

So my mom decided to take them out and show them around.

She asked me to drive so I said why not.

Went to church in the morning then had breakfast together.

As we got to talking, we realized Doreen and I are cousins, 4x removed, or whatever.

Turns out her grandfather and my grandmother were either brother and sister or cousins.

Which would make Brian my cousin of some sort.

Holy shit! 

Don't know if I'm excited or just whatever. I think it's a mix of both.

What I found interesting though is that after all these years of being friends, why haven't these two women realized we're actually related?

Small world it is.

Took them to Tempe beach park, went to S. mountain, AZ mills then buffet for dinner.

It was an interesting day. 

Would have gone to Sedona but we didn't have much time.

Doreen: My son is sooo quiet. He rarely talks!

Mom: Same with Bo. I don't ever see her. She just stays in her room all day.

Me: I only come out to eat.

Doreen: He's the same way! You two really are related.

Great.

Brian's a cool guy though. 

He doesn't talk much like me.

Plus, he's got big ears.

And big ears run in the family.

Professor V and cheez-it

After yesterday's exam, I got to thinking.

I remember that one exam I failed and think how I've had it good compared to others.

A few students stayed right after the test and so did professor V.

Some of us helped her put away all the laptops, chargers and mice.

I guess the reason why we did it was to get on her good side.

But we were also grateful for her being so incredibly kind to us.

She'd always have snacks for us every lecture and gave us extra points if we argued test questions.

I don't even know if we're supposed to do it but during the test yesterday, I raised my hand to ask her a question.

I showed her my answer and told her my rationale.

She said to change my answer and pointed to the correct one.

LIKE WOAH. You, ma'am, are beyond AWESOME.

I feel like we are so blessed to have a teacher like her.

A teacher who genuinely wants to help her students. God bless her heart.

I hope they don't get rid of her, like they did to that one teacher whose only fault was to give students an accurate study guide for the HESI.

Her only fault was trying to help the students.

Anyway, professor agreed to let us know if we passed the exam or not.

Temi was so worried.

And when she told her she passed, she cried tears of joy and relief.

Professor V got up from her chair and hugged her.

My heart was so touched. She is a true inspiration.

May she continue to help struggling students dear Lord.

She is such a blessing, a Godsend.

I also remember a few days back when I went to review my exam with her in her office.

She was so nice.

We got to talking about nursing, then she asked me about my background lol.

She said she liked lumpia hahaha. She has a great sense of humor too.

Speaking of which, whoever invented this stuff must really love salt.

I tried it and it just didn't click with my taste buds.

That doesn't make me weird ok?

Me: (while eating cheez-it) Blah! I don't like this stuff.

Brianna: OMG, are you even human?

I tried it a few times but I can't get used to the taste. 

I just don't get the hype.

And yes I am human. 

Resp/Cardio exam

I am just so elated right now.

Praising God every second.

I feel like this is the best score I've ever gotten this semester.

I know I know, 32.32 out of 35 is the highest.

But to me, 60 out of 65 definitely gives me a sense of accomplishment.

Distance

Never thought it would come to this.

I swore I'd never be like her but ended up doing the same thing she did.

Not sure how to deal with myself. 

Perhaps we have to keep this distance between us forever.

For only God knows how long it will take.

I myself don't have a clue anymore.

I think I've always been clueless.

Time to put these bricks back up again.

Anime

Couldn't believe it when Jerald told me Naruto ended.

700 chapters! Sheesh. 

Really thought it'd have 1,000something chapters.

It's good that they ended it though imo.

It was really dragging towards the end.

Naruto may be a part of my childhood, but all that long ass conversations and constant flashbacks annoyed me.

Less talk, more fighting yea?

But I was really happy when I learned Naruto married Hinata. Woohoo!

They have two children together too. Oldest is Bolt and a young girl named Himawari awwww

I always shipped NaruHina. But I thought NaruSaku had better chemistry.

Can't imagine the dysfunctional relationship between Sakura and Naruto.

Sakura be putting Naruto in the hospital all the time.

Two things I'm uber excited for these coming months

First, Naruto the last movie! I wonder if their children will be in it too. Hmm...

Or is it between those 15 years post Sasuke and Naruto's final battle?

I wonder if Hinata has gotten stronger? 

The way he looks at her though <3

I don't know if I heard it right but I guess in the movie, someone gets kidnapped?

Then both Naruto and Hinata and the others go after the kidnappers?

I hear a lot of things, nothing definite for sure.

It's the waiting game again. 

Sigh.

Sasuke's and Sakura's only child.

They made her nerdy here, which suits her I guess.

Aaaaaaaand she stalks Bolt! 

Like Hinata did with Naruto.

For some reason, she's curious about this boy.

Then she tells her mom that boys are pigs.

Could this be the birth of SalaBolt shippers?

And the second thing that I'm excited for is Citrus.

I pre-ordered my copy and I'll be getting it next month YESSSHHH

There's talk of it being turned into anime too.

I HOPE THEY WILL.

I only saw a little clip of it.

They say there might be no anime adaptation soon.

It will depend on the viewers.

I thought Yuzu's voice would be a bit high-pitched.

But I guess deep voice suits her too.

BUT MEI'S VOICE OHMYGOSH SO SEXY.

I will soooooo have an anime marathon when I'm done with nursing school!
